COLORADO MOUNTAIN HOME
Frank Lloyd Wright wrote that good architecture should “bring the outside world into the house and let the inside of the house go outside.” This beautiful mountain home makes these transitions effortlessly. Individual stone lines match up perfectly on both sides of every window creating the uncanny effect of stone walls flowing seamlessly from inside to out. Widespread use of interior floating soffits allows for soft, indirect lighting. Recessed lights not only provide general lighting, but also dramatically highlight the extensive use of interior stone. Views framed from every window capture the spectacular landscape and maximize the effect of being connected to the outside world.
